Bottle: Poured a dark deep brown color ale with a small light brown foamy head with light retention and minimal lacing. Aroma consists of fruit cake with huge spice mix and some spices that are very hard to pinpoint and describe. Taste is also dominated by fruit cake notes with light rum notes and some anises. Very singular taste and even though I couldn’t bring myself to drink load of this I would still like to have this again (price point also need to be re-visited).

Syrupy texture. Some oak, citrus, booze and caramelized malt. Finishes very sweet. Doesn’t all hang together very well. Soft carbonation. Tap at Festibiere Gatineau.

A dark brown ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma sweet fruity molasses malt with licorice notes, interesting. In mouth, a sweet fruity malt with dark fruits, candy sugar, light citrus, spices, incense, molasses and coffee. Bottle at Festibiere d’hiver 2014.
