12oz bottle pours out amber topped with a sand head. Nose is roast cereal notes grassy hops and some spice. Tatse is more of the roast notes some grass and funky metallic note.

341 ml bottle. Pours a clear, amber brown with a small, short lived tan head. Light aroma of malt, caramel and brown sugar. Sweet flavour of caramel and brown sugar with a sour, metallic finish. Light body with a watery texture and fizzy carbonation.

Came in a mix 12-pack with 4 bottles of Messagère of each kind. Found at the Métro store in Aylmer. Pours a clean copper colour with a small off-white head that disappears quickly and does not leave much lace. Buckwheat nose with other different beer aromas from the rice and millet. The taste starts off sweet, like almost caramel malt, but then goes into this really weird "I don’t know what" to finish slightly dry. Seems like a mix of outdated caramel and apple juice together - where the sweetness is not there and just the rest. Good for people with gluten allergies, but made to be drunk from the bottle.

Bottle: Poured a clear light brown color ale with a small foamy head with light retention and lacing. Aroma of light cereal notes with unrefined grain. Taste is not the greatest with unrefined grain and light cereal notes with residual sugar notes. Body is light with good carbonation. Only to be consumed by those allergic to gluten.

Brown bottle, 341 ml, purchased at the Le marché de chez nous on April 11 2009, savoured on May 8 2009; eye: copper, clear, no effervescence, really tiny ring of beige head, no lacing; nose: sake, buckwheat, light caramel; mouth: sake, buckwheat, finale in sake with presence of pepper, medium body, a bit thin, not much carbonation, lightly sweet, slightly bitter; overall: special FRANÇAIS Bouteille brune, 341 ml, achetée à la Le marché de chez nous le 11 avril 2009, savourée le 8 mai 2009; œil : cuivrée, claire, pas d’effervescence, très petit anneau de mousse beige, pas de dentelle; nez : saké, sarrasin, léger caramel; bouche : saké, sarrasin, raisin, finale en saké avec présence de poivre, corps moyen, texture un peu mince, peu carbonatée, légèrement sucrée, très légèrement amère; en résumé : spécial

Bouteille 341ml. De couleur cuivrée et claire. Nez de légumes, moyen d’herbes, léger de fruits (orange artificielle) et avec des notes de céréales (riz bouilli) et de sucre brûlé chimique. Mince en bouche avec un pétillement moyen et aux notes croustillantes ainsi qu’une texture très légèrement sirupeuse. Léger goût fruité (notes d’orange artificielle, pépins de pommes) accompagné de notes de légumes cuits sucrés lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute rapidement un moyen goût de sucre chimique aux notes brûlées ainsi qu’un léger goût de riz bouilli puis en finale l’on retrouve un léger goût herbeux aux petites notes asséchantes ainsi que des traces de noix. Post-goût court-moyen et aux petites notes asséchantes composé d’un goût résiduel de sucre chimique avec des notes de légumes cuits.
