A beer for the masses. Pale malts, unoffensive, almost boring hops. Light grains, next to no bitterness. Ummm, refreshing i guess. Pretty boring. It’s just beer.

Bottle from the brewery as part of a mix-12 pack. A clear blonde Color that clocks in at 5% the taste is of a bready fruity blonde. Overall it is a nice clean blonde ale though not so exciting.

Purchased in their mixed 12-pack (Gamme sympathique 12 Mixte). Pours a slightly hazy golden-blonde colour with a foamy head that dissipates at a medium rate and a few waves of lace are left. The nose is kind of different, feeling more like a spicy Belgian witbier than a blonde ale (or Pilsner as they refer to it). Almost peppery, with the citrus and corriander notes and some hop. Slightly oily mouthfeel. The taste is a mix of cereal malts at first being overpowered by grass (and mild fish that comes up - gross) to then, be better balanced with a nice bitterness into the aftertaste. Overall, just a bit too much all over the place. Seems confused between too many styles this one wants to be.

A blonde pils with a thick frothy creamy white head. In aroma, light mineral malt with German hopping, very classic. In mouth, a smooth crisp malt with nice German hops, grassy, lightly resinous, very decent. On tap at Brouhaha, Dec. 16 2011.

Bottle: Poured a light yellow color beer with a nice foamy head with OK retention and some light lacing. Aroma consists of light floral notes with lightly sweet malt backbone. Taste is a nice mix between some lightly sweet malt base with a light floral hoppy finish. Body is about average with OK carbonation. Hoppy notes are nice though very delicate and subtle. Could be better but considering this is a new brewer it does have some potential.

Bouteille 341ml.
