Brewed for and sold out at our 3-year anniversary soirée in March 2019. This Hornindal Kveik Double India Pale Ale is fermented with Norwegian Farmhouse Yeast. Same Free Verse juiciness propped up with a luscious and smooth backbone that finishes incredibly clean.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 03/04/21. Clear golden orange with a good sized off white cap that settles to a swirl. Nose is bitter orange, floral notes, toasted malts, caramel, grapefruit zest, light pine needle. Taste comprises orange peel, pine needle, grass, ripe melon, grapefruit, mixed tropical fruits. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close spiked with juicy hop bitterness and a balanced rising boost. Good fun old skool leaning DIPA ... memories of mid 2000's brew pub ticking in the United Rakes !

Panda 🐼 at home thanks to SHIG. A mostly clean deep orange coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is semi sweet, orange rind, resinous hop, little pine, sugar dusted orange. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, sticky orange, candied orange, wood varnish, caramel. Palate is semi sweet, sticky, resin, creamy, moderate carbonation. Good old school DIPA.

[16oz can from Beer52.] A hazy amber pour with a thick cream head; spicy peach aroma; thick syrupy body with peach and apricot flavours and a slowly building piney bitterness heavy with alcohol; then a pleasing sourish finish. Just the thing for sipping slowly as the winter sun shines.

US Pint can (473ml) from Beer52: BB 2nd Sep 2021. Drank at home on 15th Nov 2020. Hazy orange pour, thin white covering on top, does stay though. Citrus and piney aroma/taste, really enjoyed it; uncomplicated and simple, a very drinkable DIPA.

Tight foamed head stayed on a hazy bright amber coloured still body. Malt & sweet Tropical aroma. Medium bodied, sharp with a smoother clean back. Malt, pine, resin, grapefruit & over ripe stone fruit tastes. Outstanding!

440ml can via Beer52. Pours a muddy orange, small white head which leaves minor retention. Big aroma of orange juice and resin. Malts and oats are detectible in the background. Taste is orange juice, zest, hint of alcohol and a strong bitterness in the finish. Simple but nice. Body is moderate, quite smooth with a soft carbonation; very nice. Enjoyable.

Can, from the TapRm. Pours clear rich golden-orange with small frothy off-white head that flops down fast, orange peel-resin aroma, low carbonation, medium bitter resinous taste, faint orange peel flavor, alcohol undertones, thin body, long finish with alcohol after taste. Te alcohol escapes quite a bit.
