Opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Smooth and soft finish, reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth but slightly watery dark malts, a modest dark chocolate. A light woodiness. Very light. Modest fruitiness from the brandy barrel, which is also a bit watery. Light finish. Lacks intensity and lacks any barrel boldness. A bit dull.

Botella 33 cl del Western tomada en Oviedo 24..02..2018. (r15). Color negro intenso con espuma beige oscuro persistente. Sabores maltosos tostados con toques de maderas ligeramente especiados y suaves alicorados. Cuerpo medio con cierta densidad. Buena, se esperaba algo más de ella.

Bottle@Jespers - Black pour with small beige head. Roasted and sweet malty with some cocoa and caramel and treacle sweetness, some distinct brandy soaked wooden accents into the close.

Sample from 33 cl bottle. Pitch black with a thin lightly tanned head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, chocolate, coffee and a slight burn from brandy barrels. Taste is sweet. Medium to full body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes sweet roasted with coffee and liquorice. Ok.

Black color, tan head with medium retention. Aroma is roasty with strong coffee notes. Flavor has notes of black ripe fruit but mainly coffee beans; black chocolate as well. Smoothy final, light bitterness with roasted malts notes.

From 33cl bottle. Pours dark plum black with almost no foam. Aroma is coffee,a little licorice, tobacco. Body is medium,a little astringency. Taste is intensely bitter, from roasted malt. Finish is long and bitter.
