Bottle shared in London - cheers Team! Pours mostly clear brown with a light, creamy tan head. Spectacular depth, with nice caramel notes, dark berries, fruitcake, vanilla dates, figs. Full bodied, oily and chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, more rich malts, dark fruits. Delicious.

Bottle. Pours a very dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong maple, dark fruit, bourbon, wood, toffee. Slick body, maple syrup, raisin, figs, toffee, wood, nice sweetness, boozy finish, enjoyed this.
If life is round was mad barrels, this is mad barleywine notes but guess the age has to do with it too. A year can change a man and a beer, amirite? And this was delicious maple laffy taffy BiL. Thanks Clay M. !

Bottle shared at Himmeriget, thanks to Jeppe/Jens. Dark sweet fruity with layers of dark dried fruit, notes of caramel and maple sweetness seeping through, some cocoa and brown sugar, full bodied, the bourbon really coming through into the finish.

Pours very dark brown. No head. Smell is full, bit sweet, complex, mild maple. Taste is full, intense, caramel, maple is very hidden. Bit alcohol heat. Nice.
