Keg at the Peckham tap room. A clear reddy copper coloured pour with a loose beige head. Aroma is nice big jammy fruits, orange marmelade, white grape. Toffee.. Flavour is composed of brown bready malts, toffee, raisin, toasted malts, good. Piney hop. Palate is semi sweet, sticky pine. Resin moderate carbonation. Good.

Keg tap feom Four Quarters, Peckham. Light reddish brown, very clear with a thin film of off-white head. Smells of resin, red berry notes, dried grass. Sweet taste with a lingering spiciness just before the shoet finish. Body is very thin. Drinkable enough but there's not a lot to it.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up at a local bottle shop. Pours clear, deep orange with a frothy, mostly white head. Really nice stuff overall, solid toasted malts, biscuits, quite sturdy pine, a little grass, orange rind. Light bodied with average carbonation. Refreshingly resinous and bitter in the finish, more sturdy malts, lingering grass. Honestly, this beer is an excellent antidote to the sweet hop juice that's all over these days (which I also enjoy, mind). This particular beer is dialled in. Solid overall.

Keg at the London Beer Lab, 12/01/18. Rich amber with a decent light beige cap. Nose is biscuit malt, brown sugar, dusty fruits, light spice, earthy hop. Taste comprises brown bread, toasted grains, rye notes, dried fruits, burnt toffee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close dusted with earthy hop bitterness. Fine for the style.
