A wheated able saison, Hemel is soft, sessionable and brewed for summer. Gently dry hopped with Hallertau Blanc, it exudes notes of pear, white wine and wildflowers. These meld beautifully with our yeast strain’s reserved phenolic underpinnings.

16 oz can from Justin, thanks again my man, 9/30/23. Unclear yellowish color, strong white head / lace. Bright and grainy. Lemon, herbal. Doughy notes. It drinks kinda chewy. Tingly finish. A little dry. Tasty, and the more I drink of it the more I like it.

Pours slightly hazed gold into a willi. Bright white soapy head with medium retention crackles and recedes to coat surface. Meadow and grape must aromas. Crisp with sweet pear and apricot upfront turning to mild lemon before the medium length meadow finish.

Brewery draught, 4/8/22. Clear, blonde-golden with a small, white head showing moderate-to-low retention. Fruity nose has soft apricot, nectarine and light apple with herbal and pepper notes coming on through the middle, from the hops. Clean yeast shows low phenol with none of the crap (clove, banana, bubble gum). Malts seem substantial and well-attenuated, adding biscuit and light white bread with just a touch of honey. Floral hops and lightly acidic phenolics lingering. Soft and supple, very malty yet well-attenuated with biscuit and light honey from the malt leading to fruity yeast esters coupled with herbal-peppery hops that add very gentle bitterness. Delicate and easygoing with ample texture and body and refreshing carbonation. A great quaffer.

16oz can pours a hazy yellow with some creamy white head. Nose has yeast, grass, grist, lime, green grape, some candi. Flavor has candi and clove, some banana, the esters are out. Finishes dry, lightly bitter and phenolic. Drinks bigger than you'd expect. 7 4 7 3 13
