On tap @Sideways Dallas. Stemless. Somewhat see though but not clear, dark cranberry juice, a little fake blood, extra froth. Smells of cherry pie filling but slightly deeper. Subtle herbs, cherry liquor. Taste is soft & juicy, fleshy, low acid, lots of cherry skin, frothy, soft bubbles, grassy, fresh, lingering tartness & faint pit. Easy thinker & a lovely quaff.

Tart cherry, barnyard, malt, and hay aroma. Dark ruby red with minimal head. Moderately sweet cherry, malt, moderately sour brettanomyces and citric acid, and mildly bitter straw flavor. Good body. Tasty.

Sampled in between Ratebeer and Brewver, so not much specific notes. This one was way to sweet to me, for an oude kriek .

28 April 2019. At Zythos Bierfestival. Cheers to Anke, 77ships & tderoeck! Hazy red, lasting, thin, frothy, pink head. Strong aroma of pure cherries, berries, red fruit jam, wood, almond, lemon peel. Taste is medium to heavy fruity sour, loads of cherries, lemon peel, a bit wheaty, bitter touches of cherry seeds & wood, vague almond, ending dry, tart, more sour cherry, lemon acid & sweetish jam. Medium body, slick-oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Uncompromising sourness but in a very artisan way. Nice!

Tap at the source in Lembeek, tour de gueuze 2019. Clear ruby red with firm foamy light pink head. Sweet cherries, cooked cherries, cherry flavored bubblegum, marzipan, sour fresh schaarbeekse krieken. Quite sweet and moderate sour leaning in and slightly over the sweetness. Medium to over medium body and soft carbonation. Great smooth jammy mouthfeel. Pretty nice out here in the sunshine. 🌞 🍒

Tap at the brewery. Clear deep red with bright pink head. Sweet and sour cherries, cherry yoghurt, soft funk, green leaves, a touch of almond milk. Medium sour, under medium sweet and light bitter. Medium bodied. Nice but not amazing.
