(Draught at Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Brussels, 18 Oct 2018) Hazy yellow colour with frothy, white head. Malty, hoppy nose with white bread, grain, citrus and grass. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of white bread, citrus, grass and a fresh grassy/herbal bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Fresh and tasty, with a good hop character. Quite nice.

4 May 2019. At Heeren van Liedekercke. Cheers to Anke's birthday! Pours hazy yellow with a lasting, small, frothy, white head; some lacing. Aroma of lemon zest, yellow apple, white bread, lime, banana peel, clove, coriander, faint pineapple. Taste is medium hoppy bitter, dry apple peel & grass, somewhat grapefruity even, next to spicy notes of clove, pepper, vague coriander, faint fruity sweetness of pineapple & banana, yeasty & bready character with a constant wheaty & lemony sourish edge. Dry, floral, bit earthy hoppy finish, lingering wheat, apple peel, spices. Medium body, slick-creamy texture, soft carbonation. Firmly hoppy indeed, but remaining very 'Witbier-y', so hard to strike a balance.

Tap at moeder Fontainas. Hazy pale golden with white head. Soft sweet malts, floral and light herbal. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation.

Tap at Moeder Lambic. Hazy pale straw with white head. Coriander, orange, dank citrus peel, bitter herbs, soft wheat, allspice, green leaves. Light sweet and solid medium bitter. Over light bodied.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with average to huge, thick, frothy, mostly lasting, moderately lacing, snow-white head. Spicy, fruity hoppy and sweet-ish wheaty aroma, notes of coriander, hints of melon, orange, mandarine. Taste is dry, peppery spicy, slightly fruity hoppy, weak wheaty background, notes of coriander and white pepper, cautious hints of melon, mandarine, orange; slightly watery passages. Slightly overspiced & overcarbonated.

33cl bottle. A hazy dark golden beer with a mid-sized most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of mid sweet banana, wheat and yeat. Taste of floral hops, citrus and lime, mild banana and wheat, okay!

03/11/2017 @home - 75cl bottle shared with tderoeck. Hazy light yellow, huge collapsing head. Nose is gracy, spices, citrus. Taste is spicy yeast, citrus, bit lemonade like. Refreshing

Clear pale blond to straw yellow beer, big white to off-white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots of coriander, some banana, spicy, bit grassy, dusty. MF: lively carbon, light body. Taste: some citrus, bit dusty, spicy, coriander, soft bitterness, some banana. Aftertaste: soft bitterness, little grassy, coriander, soft wheat acidity.
