Sampled from the tap at The Sovereign. Pours a near clear pale gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a tart light fruit and lemon with a hint of earthy grass and a touch of funkiness. Flavor has light tart fruits and a lemon bitterness with some earthy grass in the finish.

Canned from department. Poured a pale yellow. Heaby sour and salt. Could have been more subtle

$2.75 Single from Appalachian. Hazy, yellow, frothy whipped head. Yeasty, dusty, lemon, powdery wheat, stuffy closet, faintly salty nose. Taste is a grisette sprinkled with lots of lime zest. Yeasty, starchy, lime juice, bitter flour, good carb. Solid, but not at that crazy Oxbow level.

Tap @ Oxbow, Portland. Pours a misty golden yellow, thin white bubbles atop. Zesty nose. Well integrated juicy lime to taste with a crisp acidity and complimented by a sea salt tang. Nicely refreshing.

Canned 5/25/21, drunk 7/22/21.
Lightly hazy (translucent) brass-golden. White head immediately to ring.
Fruity nose with light cereal and honey from the malt. Thankfully the lime juice is way in the background; not that I thought they'd overdo it. Acidity is light and there's plenty of minerality with pretty tame, but enjoyable funk. No alcohol or flaw.
Bright acidity with lime and floral notes up front as soft, gently sweet malt easily balances. Biscuit, honey, lime zest, very minimal Brett/lacto and engaging carbonation with good attenuation, light on the salt and no alcohol noted. Lime character does pickup as it warms, and ultimately not sure that I love lime in (m)any beers, but I suppose I see the appeal of a mindless beach-like cocktail character for a beer.

Fairly clear and soft copper and peach coloured body with a thinnish pure white head that fades fairly quickly, but leaves a subtle lace on the sides and on the back. Aroma of very grassy and funky yeast notes with some bretty and lactobilly funk towards the front with a soft sweetness and a good deal of funk, fresh spontaneously fermented yeast with some slight sweetness from fruits and a bit of hay and grass. Light to Medium-bodied; Very crisp, easy drinking and fresh malt notes dominate with a biscuity, herbal and floral bite with a dash of flowers at the end and the spontaneously fermented yeast and a fresh bite of malts. Aftertaste shows an easy-drinking, but refreshing, fresh-malt and spontaneously fermented beer that has a nice easy-drinking profile. Overall, a nice and crisp beer that shows well and leaves a good finish along with a fresh bite from the crisp bretty and lactobilly notes that dominate here. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Eataly in New York (Flatiron), New York on 02-May-2021 for US$4,90 sampled a few minutes later on the streets of New York with my kids on 02-May-2021.
