440ml can. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a massive fizzy tan head. The aroma is light roasty malt, earthy, mineral, light chocolate. The flavour is moderate sweet and liqourice bitter, with a roasty, liqourice, light chocolate, lactose palate. Medium bodied with lively initial carbonation. Some mild infection going on sadly, but thankfully the beer was still drinkable.

Can at home picked up from Diss taproom. A hazed nut brown black coloured pour with a lively mid tan head. Aroma is mellow eathy roast, tangy dried fruit, cranberry, light soap, twigs and berries, chocolate. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, earthy chocolate, oily, spicy, woody toasted nuts, milky chocolate, mellow ash in the finish. Palate is semi sweet, oily, moderate carbonation. Not bad.

Keg @ Hop In Beer & Gin House, Brecon. Dark opaque appearance, off-white pale tan head. Smooth on the palate, good rich milky chocolate character balanced by a nice roast presence, good full body nicely rounded with a little lactose softening things. Really nice this.
