Bottle from Zepotza, Astigarraga, in the Basque Country cider country.. Very generous amount for a single Euro, poured from a bottle off the shelf. Obviously drinking cider in cider-country is a cultural thing rather first rather than a profit-making one. Medium cider, very easy and fresh tasting. Plenty of apple in both aroma and taste, some bitterness in its finish.

7/9/2020. Sample courtesy of minutemat, cheers Mat! Pours hazy golden with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of light tart apple, slight woody citrus notes. Light sweetness and moderate sour. Moderate body, average carbonation. Light sweet and tart finish. Not bad.

75cl bottle, thanks Taboada for this! Pours a misty unclear golden yellow. Aroma is surprisingly subdued, very little sour apple coming through. Taste is similarly quite reserved, sharp apples taking a backseat to the bristling tanginess that emerges on the back of the palate, some light cider vinegar creeping in on the finish. Seems fairly mellow for a sidra, generally lacking a passionate fruit-filled palate. Passable table sidra.

Sampled from tap at Museo de la Sidra (Sagardoetxea). Cloudy yellow body with almost no head. Quite strong acidic fruity aroma with relatively mild hint of spicy yeast. Flavor is strong and dominated by sour apples, apple core and moderate funky acidity with some more general fruitiness. Medium body and tart apple aftertaste. Quite nice and easy to drink, perhaps a bit one-dimensional and not the most complex version of Sidra natural I have tasted.
