(Cask at Cask Pub & Kitchen, Pimlico, London, 24 Nov 2024) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with citrus, grass and grapefruit. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, grass, resin, oat crackers and a balanced citric/grassy bitterness. Light body, quite dry. Refreshing. Quite nice.

Large sample in The Wrekin, hand-pulled by my son Ben! 15th August 2023. Light golden pour, white head. Struggled with this to be honest, strange citrus aroma and taste, farmyard like and difficult to like.

Cask at Monty's. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of light biscuit and floral hops. Taste is more of the same. Clean finish, if a bit thin.

Mobberley Bunji 3.8% 8/9/20 Cask at Military Arms, Sandbach (not listed in RateBeer). Pours a slightly hazy chrome yellow with a small white head and excellent lacing. Just vague hints of malts in the nose. In the mouth there is grass, floral hops and lemon. Finish has quite a bit of citrus with leanings towards grapefruit. A nice restrained beer from Mobberley for a change. I would call it a Pale rather than a Golden Ale though.

Cask @ Bastion Alehouse, Oswestry. Clear gold, thin white head. Pale malt nose, lightly bitter. Fairly simplistic bitter overall, straightforward grassy hop bitterness, biscuity malt. Fine.
