12/5/2022. Bottle from Raise The Bar, Chapel en le Frith. Pours almost clear golden amber with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is fruity, citrus, gooseberry, leafy floral notes. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and body, Slightly watery, quite lively carbonation. Chalky bitter finish developed. Not my favourite from this brewery.

Bottle shared at RB mini-gathering, Shrewsbury (thanks Glen) A vague sense of oranges and herbs in the nose of this one. Pours a hazy brownish orange with a small white head. Sweet and malty in the mouth, with oranges and a hint of sharpness that could be gooseberries. A long dry finish as well. Not at all bad.

500ml bottle @ Chez Sophie mini-RateBeer gathering July 2020. Thanks Glen for this! Didn't realise this was a gooseberry beer at the tasting, and it didn't jump out as being especially fruity, coming across as a pleasantly sweet, malty bitter more than anything. Not bad.

Shared with Glen, Mat and Martin on 26th July 2020 at a mini-tasting in Chez Sophie (Shrewsbury). Cheers Glen for bringing a 500ml bottle of this. Light haze to the amber body, white topping. Hints of Gooseberry and stone fruits in both the nose and dry taste. Almost interesting!
