440ml can in a delivery from the brewery and drunk at home. Light to mid-golden and clear with a spotty film of off-white head. Some apricot, lemon cream and dried grass notes in the aroma, a little bit of fresh astringency. Taste is pretty bitter, you expect the brief initial sweetness to last but it doesn’t. The astringent bitterness lasts through to the long finish. Soft to medium carbonation, a light oily body. A mixed bag.

Sample thanks to danlo. Thanks Ed! Misty golden amber appearance, small white head. Smooth wheaty textures on the palate, bitter citrus, grapefruit with some floral notes. Decent introduction to this Middlesborough brewery.
