Malted barley, oats. The equivalent to Table Beer in our range of stouts and porters. Not brewed to 'dry stout'-style, per se, but a stout that is dry. Light-bodied but not thin, with more prominent kettle-hopping and then dry-hopping to add some brightness and contrast to the roasty, biscuity, and savoury character of the dark malts.

Keg at the brewery. Pours deep brown with a thick , creamy beige cap. Rich well roasted malts on the nose, some baking cocoa, orange rind, subtle grapefruit. Light sweet flavor with sturdy ashy roast, bittersweet baking cocoa, scorched earth, burnt pine. Light bodied with average carbonation and somewhat velvety texture. Lightly drying and ashy on the finish, with mellow grapefruit, citrus rind, lingering bitter dark chocolate. Great.

Keg at source. Nice opaque black coloured pour with a steadfast mid tan frothy. Aroma is nice earthy roast, light soapy notes, some tropical peach and dry dark choc. Flavour is dry roast, verging on acrid, burnt grass, charred wood, earthy soil. Mosaic is a little over powered but comes actoass with some peach in the background. Palate is airy, medium light, with a uber dry tangy finish. Lingering ashy dry roast is fairly smooth. OK.

Keg at Kernel. It pours near black with a decent light tan head. The nose is smooth, creamy roast, chocolate cake, umami and liquorice. The taste is smooth, earthy caramel, roast, ash, burnt toast, charred wood , peppery citrus and liquorice with a dry, roasty finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Smooth and easy going stout.
