Huge thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass deep golden, small head. Mild malty aroma. Starts mild, malty, shy bitterness. Not as moldy as other low alcohol beers. Finish a bit washy, but still quite drinkable.

Bottle from the dry drinker. Pours clear golden with a short-lived thin white head. Aromas of light malt, light spice, faint floral hops. Taste is a bit watery and thin. Malt forward. Thin finish. Lacks depth.

330ml bottle @ DryJan beer tasting, Chez Sophie, Jan '20. Clear pale gold appearance, foamy white head. Cobwebs on the nose, continuing to taste, has a bit of a cardboardy 10-year-old-bitter feel about it.. light, watery.. not the best of the evening.

27th Jan 2020. Shrewsbury Beer Exchange in Chez Sophie, our first ever 'no alcohol' tasting. 39 different beers, we managed 26 before we bloated ourselves out, this was beer number 9. 275ml bottle. Looked OK, golden/amber, decent head. sadly it had a cob-web like aroma and taste (like stale ale), others in the group enjoyed it.

Bottle at The Lord Nelson, Brighton. It pours clear brown with a small white head. The aroma is earthy, woody, toasted nut, caramel, brown bread and malt loaf. The taste is dry, earthy bitterness, woody, leather, toasted nut, light cardboard and brown bread with a dry finish. Light body and moderate, fizzy carbonation. Obvious not a patch on the full fat cask version, but a decent low abv number anyhow.

Bottle from Harvey’s online shop. Appearance - like irn bru with a wee heid. Nose - mandarins and malt lurking. Taste - very metallic, some malt and herbs. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly agreeable finish, Overall - actually very close to being a beer despite its low alcohol. Big metallic taste is an issue though.

Bottle shared at Herr Schmitt’s gaff. Thanks to Leighton. Aroma is big silage wet grass, mineral wort. Light copper colour with a ton white head. Flavour is dry grass, mineral, some nutty malt. Very dry finish. Light body. Not great.
