Generous quantities of hops are added throughout the brewing process and it is those hops that deliver Low Tide’s richly fruity hop character, with tropical fruits, and notes of subtle citrus and blueberry.

Not at all bad for a low alcohol beer. Theres some hop character there, its a pleasant enough drink.

Keg at Lords, day 2 of ENG vs IRE test, 02/06/23. Light golden orange, carbonation evident, moderate white cap. Nose is light grass, modest citric peel, toasted malts, melon. Taste comprises aspartamic notes, orange zest, grass, straw, hint of lemon, light perfume. Medium to light bodied, light spritzy carbonation, semi drying close. Okay for an AF.

Post-match drink, drawn in by the apparent pun. Clear golden pour with a small white head. Aromas of grain/malt, pine, some exotic fruit, similar for the tastes with a bit more citrus. Not bad at all for an alcohol-free.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from an off licence in Stoke Newington. Pours clear gold with a small, foamy white head. Light sweet flavour with some crunchy pale grains, biscuits, pine needles, straw. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with further crunchy pale grains, dried tangerine rind, a little grassy bitterness. Basic but drinkable.

Bottle from Tesco Supermarket, Failsworth. Golden with a very small head. Its pale ale texture, taste, aroma and style are very stated and this is all very pleasant, although it's obvious this brew lacks alcohol as it drops down the back of the palate.

500ml bottle at the Bear, Bedford. Mid- to dark gold and clear with an uneven white head. Some hoppy notes - floral and lemony - on the nose, with a little bit of iced tea. Sweet malty taste with just a touch of slightly stale hop bitterness. Carbonation is pretty low. Not bad for a non-alcoholic beer.

£1.00 at Tesco, Brookland. Aroma of citrus over eggy sweaty plimsols. Copper gold. Thin translucent white head. Medium bitter. Citrus and guanine. Underlying sugar edge over a further undering boiled veg core. Light bodied. Thin. Fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. They've attempted to get a hoppy AF beer but that does not adequately madk the trad sweaty boiled veg not quite right result that AF beers tend to deliver.

500ml bottle: BB 30th Sep 2021. Drank at home on 21st Nov 2020. Pale orange body, fast fading white bubbles on top. Mild hop and grainy aroma and taste. A bit 'fizzy' and pretty boring really. Slight hop bitterness, but it's not a great low alcohol brew.
