Bottle at Brewklyn, Tallinn. Pours dark ruby brown, not much head. Aroma: apples, apple peel, berries, light herbal. Taste: light sharp, tart apples, bourbon barrel, mild blackcurrant. Medium body with low carbonation. An interesting flavour journey.

Draught @ Taprorom Siderija, Riga Aroma has ripe apples and apple peel. Feels leathery and a bit tart. Flavour has ripe and rathet leathery apples, mild flouriness and aome sour apple candy. Intense and rich, drinkability could be better though.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, thanks Graham! Pours deep dark brown, almost black. Aroma of roast, dark berries, tart apple fruit. Taste is a little murky, some herbal blackcurrant notes, fleeting liquorice glimpses, distant roast. Different, for sure.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Pours a dark brown colour, beige foam head which gradually dissipates away and aroma of muck, dirt. Taste is oil, earthy, funk, plastic along with mucky notes and an underlying toffee hint. Slick mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, earthy dirt-like finish. Quite weird, not sure this sample has travelled well!
