37.5cl bottle. A clear amber beer with a beige lacing. Aroma of mild tart red berries and grapes. Taste of tart grapes, red fruits, brett.

Pours darker, unclear amberbrown. Small white head. Scent is very expressive. Woody, if you know, but it presents a bit pencil sharps, glue, plastic. Not sure if I love it. Taste is mildly acedic ( very mildly), some wood (see above) notes. Tad sweet, unique for sure. Better taste than scent very refined.

Batch #2. Begint heel erg als een geuze. Na even ademen komt de wilgenbast naar voren. In de smaak zachtzuur, mals. Licht scherp in de finish.

Amber, small, aroma is wood, tart, malt, fruity, light metal. Taste is the same, tart, light sour, woody, dry aftertaste. Not bad, but too high of a price (4.80 for 15cl at oersoep)

10 August 2019. At Belgian Beer Geek Tasting. Cheers to the crew, thanks for hosting, Tim! Hazy amber, lasting, small, foamy, tan head. Aroma of biscuit, caramel, red apple, red grape, green tea, plum, raisin. Taste is light to medium fruity sour, plum-like, faint gooseberry, sweetish apple & jam; caramelly & biscuity malt supporting bitter herbs, wood & spices, Dryish, herbal hoppy finish, lingering red fruit & caramel. Medium body, slick texture, lively carbonation. No idea what 'willow bark' is supposted to taste like but there is a woody touch here, albeit a sweetish one.

Bottle. Amber color. Ginger, wood and caramel in the aroma. Sour flavor with plums, wood, ginger, orange and apricot. Complex as usual, but not my favorite flavor. The rounded sourness is nice, though.

Clear reddish brown beer, small creamy beige head, stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lovely, fruity, caramel, floral, fruity, dried fruits, decent one! MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty sour, lemony, bit metallic, floral notes, funky. Aftertaste: bit weird, nice, fruity, apricots.
