Shared bottle at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours hazy golden with white head. Aroma of urinal cake, sulfur. One of the worst beers I have tasted so far.

Shared bottle at Mi2 at Cardinal 31.08.15. Hazy straw colour. Small off-white head. Aroma and taste of overripe bananas, overripe papaya and wine gum. A faint hint of sourness in taste. Very low bitterness.

Bottle, thanks Norman. A bit hazy golden with a white head. Aroma and taste of fruit, light yeast, some grain and hints of brett. The body was medium. Drinkable but nothing special.

Last time I tasted this I concluded that this had become undrinkable (May 2012). Just found another bottle in my cellar May 2018 that I had to check. Big surprise, this had developed and changed all over again. Still fruity, some citric and some ripe with a slightly funky hint of wood and pepper. Quite delicious, Wish I had a few more bottles left.
Previous rating: Several pints served from tap in June 2015. Slightly foggy pale golden body with a small white head. Very nice fruity aroma with tropical fruit, some citric fruit, a hint of wood and mild fruity acidity. Flavor is quite dry, pale malt, lots of tropical fruit, grapefruit, mild acidic, mild touch of wood and low bitterness. Medium body and fruity, slightly acidic aftertaste. A very nice beer for the summer, like a dry version of Blonde with more fruit and a touch of wood. Unfortunately this beer has developed in a negative direction and become undrinkable today. Rating is based on a fresh version.

330 ml bottle, batch #1441. ABV is 4.5%, 10 IBU. Hazy golden colour, moderate to low white head. Aroma of over-ripe yellow fruits, mold, wet basement, wort and dust. Boring grainy flavour, medium dry, a little fruity acidity, but no strong brett character. Minimal hops. Forgettable, possibly the most boring beer from Nøgne Ø so far.

Bottle, batch 1441. Pours hazy light yellow, with a creamy head. Aroma is fruity apricots, and sweet malty notes of butterscotch and doughy bread. Medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is a rather strange, and light sour, mix of zesty bitter hops, peppery yeast, some lactic acid and buttery brett, as well as some fruity notes of peaches.

Bottle. A lightly hazy golden beer topped by a small, dense off-white head. The aroma is a bit malty I think, almost buttery, with a touch of rhubarb and a faint dough touch, as well as a good peachy, grapefruit scent. Pale malts, tropical fruits and a faint dought touch in the flavor, some bitterness in the back. Medium body, quite dry and with a nice carbonation level. Long fruity finish. Seems to need a bit more cellaring if it’s intended to be a sour one. Easy drinkable though. 150724
