Backlog June 2015. Clear golden body under a moderate sized white head. A bit weak, pilsner type aroma, some caramel. Taste is medium sweet, light malt, hint of caramel and almost no bitterness. Medium body and short aftertaste. Plain and easy forgettable.

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy golden, with a small airy head. Aroma is sweet roasted malts with bread, toffee and honey, as well as nice citrusy hops. Medium body, with soft to average carbonation. Flavour is sweet roasted malts with bread, toffee, and notes of grain, heather and chocolate, as well as sweet citrusy hops. Absolutely brilliantly balanced, and very drinkable.

KØLF 030715. THX to gunnar. Deep golden colour with an off-white head. Aroma is butter, malt, herbs. Flavour is dry, butter, malt, hop, herbs, floral. Medium body. Ordinary beer.

Flaske 330ml. Gave fra Rune. Drukket på Bergstua 6 Jul 15. Gyldenbrun. Pent høyt skum som daler sakte og blir helt borte. Søt parfymearoma. Smaken rund. Beholder fruktpreget. Svakt syrlig etter hvert.

Bottle. A crystal clear amber colored beer topped by a dense, small, off-white head. Rather grainy nose, oat porridge, grass, hay notes and some caramel in the aroma. Rather similar flavor, with resins and grass, as well as the same caramel, porridge maltyness. It’s quite full-bodied, pleasantly carbonated and semi-dry. Long grainy, porridgey finish with some grassy, light piney hops. Not very impressive this one, but at least drinkable. 150911

33cl bottle from Meny Bjølsen, Oslo. Pours golden with a small, white head. Fairly mild malty aroma with lightly fruity and hoppy notes and hints of honey and hay. Moderate to medium sweet with low flavour intensity and a rather light bitterness. Bland, but drinkable enough.

Shared bottle at Gladmat festival, Stavanger. Pours clear deep golden. Aroma of hay, honey, white bread, hops. Some sweetness, well balanced, some bitter finish. Very good lager beer.

Clear deep golden color with a fine white head. Caramel malt dominated aroma. Medium body and an average carbonation. Caramel malty, light fruity and herbal hoppy flavor. Decent pale lager. Not very amber-ish.
