Black color with a fine beige head. Nice rich aroma. Roasted, coffee, chocolate and some fruity notes. Not as thick as expected. Fine balance between sweetness and bitterness. Mellow and easy drinkable. Maybe to easy. Dominating roasted and coffe. Mild fruity n the back.

Fra fat på Café Fiasco, Oslo 29 Jul 14. Svart. Lavt, tett filmskum med litt farge. Tett lacing. God lakris-/sjokoladearoma. Smaken forsterker aromaen og utvider med røstethet & kaffe. Forsiktig syrlighet i ettersmaken.

25.03.2014, tap @ Handverkerstuene:
Nice light brown creamy longlasting head. Aroma is lots of diacetyl; black winegum crocodiles, butterscotch, caramel malts, chocolate, hay. Taste is slightly neutral, dark malts, hay, caramel, chocolate, cardboard, butterscotch. Medium bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel. Meh!

On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Black colour, large tan head. Mild roasty and fruity aroma, notes of cherry chocolates and mild coffee. Smooth mouthfeel. Moderate roasty notes, mild coffee and dark chocolate, only a hint of cherries (I am not even sure I could identify it, if I never knew it should be there). Nice to drink though.

Splendid stuff!

Lindheim tasting at Håndverkerstuene. Deep mahogany with a rather small beige head. Aroma of dark malts with dark chocolate, dark fruits, notes of coffee and dark berries. Medium sweet with balanced malty and fruity flavours with just a hint of sour and a nicely balanced bitterness. Flavourful, balanced and quite delicious!

On tap @ Kick. Clear, dark brown, almost black body with a nice, dense beige head. Aroma of dark malt, fruit and some chocolate. Flavor is sweet, pleasant roasted dark malt, chocolate and some coffee and nice, balanced fruity kind of bitterness. Fine body and good aftertaste. A very pleasant, solid made porter.
