Bottle 0.375l, five years aged. Cloudy, reddish amber colored. AROMA- fruity - berries, plum, strawberry, cherry; some alcohol, quite funky, wooden barrel. FLAVOR- warming, slightly sweet, slightly fruity sour, moderately bitter, nice aged and funky character, wood, touch of bourbon, fruity again - berries, grapes. Full bodied.
Really good.

GBBF Day 2. Keg. A hazy amber beer, with a decent pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry and has a good fine minerally crispness. Light malts, a light creamy sweetness, a trace of well integrated caramel. Nice mild funk comes to the fore in the mid. Ripe fruits. Floral fruits. Something akin to Bourbon Barrel fruits. A light crispy finish. One of the most interesting beers at the fest, totally get the stock ale vibe. The kegging adds a freshness that would be a bit flaccid if it had been cask aged. Nice well thought out and delivered brew

Bottle at home picked up from Siren online. A mostly clear orange amber coloured pour with a lasting fine off white head. Aroma is raw oak, vinous funk, spicy saison yeast, musty grape, paint. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, nutty malts, raw oak, vanilla, musty funk, bark, alcohol bite, funky saison, hints of brett. Palate is semi sweet, grainy, musty, moderate carbonation. Decent.
