Can from Deconinck. Hazy ochre, small, frothy, white head. Aroma of mandarin peel, grapefruit juice, lime, pineapple, shallot, pepper, rambutan. Taste has sweet mandarin flesh, pineapple & rambutan; bitter citrus rind & grapefruit in the middle with a spicy shallot accent, a bit dank at that, soft underlying doughy malts for support. Peppery, floral hoppy finish, spicy, yet still juicy of the ripe tropical fruitiness, very soft alcohol glow. Mediuim body, creamy texture, average carbonation. Not even their best effort, just one of those NEIPAs you could have any day.

0.44 l can from 't Biermenneke, canned in December 2020. Hazy, golden yellow with a medium large, foamy, stable, white head. Sweetish, quite fruity and minimally dank aroma of passion fruit, pineapple and a touch of green peppers. Gently sweet, quite fruity and a bit dank taste of passion fruit, pineapple, lychee and hints of green peppers, followed by a short, minimally bitter, a little herbal finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Decent NEIPA, a little restrained but still with nice flavours and nicely balanced.
