12 oz. bottle purchased at Beertopia, Omaha, NE. Bottled 6-20-17. Appearance is black with fast dying white head. No lace, low carbonation level. Aroma is really awesome! Shows mild graham cracker, chocolate, and... Wow, indeed, marshmallow. The flavor is spot on burnt marshmallow, dark chocolate, subtle graham cracker in the body. Booze is nearly hidden.
The body and mouthfeel is thin. No bourbon is found here. This is a tasty dessert stout in small doses. More than 6 ounces and it becomes overwhelming with sweetness.

Bottle - Chocolate' graham cracker and marshmallow. Jet brown with a small beige head. Like it smells with a touch of graham cracker notes. A pastry beer for sure.

12 oz. bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is intensely sweet, with tons of s'mores, bourbon barrels and vanilla. Flavour is likewise quite sweet, with plenty of s'mores, bourbon, vanilla and alcohol. Quite sweet, but not quite cloying. Very nice fun sweet beer.

355ml bottle from Elizabeth Station at Matt's. Pours a very dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is very sweet with lots of marshmallow notes. Similar taste with some bourbon notes. Veeery sweet, loooads of smoores. Pretty interesting, when you have a little bit of it.

Sweet and boozy, but with an artificial S'mores profile that grows cloy and glaring as the pint warms. Strong bitter chocolate and mild mocha notes show up, but the marshmallow sweetness slowly grows synthetic and overpowering on the back end, leading to a bitter, medicinal fade much too sugary to bear. Aroma's spot-on, since it smells just like a S'more, and the pour's okay, coming out brown-black with a fizzy beige head and slight lacing. Boozy feel is acceptable for a fresh 11% stout. But this pint tastes a helluva lot more like S'mores flavoring instead of actual S'mores.

Draft taproom. Pours deep brown with a soft beige to tan head. Very amazing aroma of graham cracker, honey, chocolate. Jesus the flavor is smores almost exactly - actually reminds me of that old smores breakfast cereal when I was a child. Graham cracker, chocolate, marshmallow, caramel. Good and not too sweet.

12 ounce bottle into snifter, bottled on 6/2/2017. Pours nearly opaque dark brown/black color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky khaki head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of huge milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, marshmallow, graham cracker, vanilla, brown sugar, toffee, bourbon, toasted oak, coconut, and dark bread; with lighter notes of roasted nuts, coffee, and roast/toasted/oaky earthiness. Incredible aromas with fantastic complexity and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, cocoa/spices, and bourbon barrel notes; with big strength. Taste of huge milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, marshmallow, graham cracker, vanilla, brown sugar, toffee, bourbon, toasted oak, coconut, and dark bread; with lighter notes of roasted nuts, coffee, and roast/toasted/oaky earthiness. Light roast/char bitterness and bourbon/oak spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, marshmallow, graham cracker, vanilla, brown sugar, toffee, bourbon, toasted oak, coconut, dark bread, light coffee/nuts, and roast/toasted/oaky earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, cocoa/spices, and bourbon barrel flavors; with an great roasted bitter/sweet and bourbon/oak spiciness balance; with zero cloying flavors after the finish. Lightly drying from roast bitterness and bourbon/oak spiciness as well. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky, and lightly sticky/chalky/tannic balanced mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden; a mildly increasing warmth, with minimal barrel booziness lingering after the finish. Overall this is an amazing barrel aged spiced imperial stout! All around incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, cocoa/spices, and bourbon barrel flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to sip on for the big ABV. Enormous amounts of authentic S’mores flavors; but still very well balanced with the base beer, without overpowering the malt/barrel character. A highly enjoyable offering.
