440ml can: BB Oct 2022. Drank at home, all by myself as a nightcap after a heavy days drinking with my local CAMRA branch. Very dark brown, beige head. Lovely Cognac esters mingle with decadent chocolate aromas in the nose. The taste is also a fine blend of chocolate flavours with a boozy Cognac undertone, some calming vanilla in the mix too.

44 cl can @ FF tasting. Rated on 13.03.2021. Aroma has rye pudding and cognac. Flavour is sweet with lots of roasted malt, rye pudding, alcohol, cognac. Too boozy and sweet and cognac-y and drinkability is not that great. Rated on 2021-03-13.

Can sample at a tasting at Yoav's place. Black, tan foam. Chocolae, wood, cognac, vanilla, a bit of vinous fruitiness, some soy sauce, caramel, sweet, a bit umami, some alcohol, oily. Very nice.

440ml can as part of a delivery from Sophie's Beer Store and drunk at home. Dark brown with a slight translucency and a small ring of beige head. Aroma of cognac, chocolate malts, Christmas pudding. Sweet taste, but not sickly, interwoven with cognac throughout. Lots of dates on the finish. Big thick body, light carbonation. It's smooth until a massive boozy hit in the aftertaste. Fuck this is good. I mean really good. Seek it out.
