The assemblage majors on bitter-sweet apples with just a hint of sweet varieties, such as Carting, Sweet Moen and Belle Fille de la Manche, all native to the centuries-old orchards of Normandy. Light fermentation preserves the natural floral aromas and yields a lower alcohol level.
Sweeter on the nose and true to the Normandy style of cider, enjoy this refreshing feel-good fizz on a sunny summer’s day, or explore its intriguing sweet-savoury nature with a fresh goat’s cheese.

Clear golden colour with no head. Aroma hints at dryness with a light tannin note. Flavour is sweet though. They make a point of 'no added sugar' but clearly the apples are just sweet to start with.

Stubby bottle from TreeRock. Asked for it to go like a weirdo. Lo-ball @home. Frothy head, jellied & almost perfectly clear, amber. Lacking anything much sniff-able. Sweet & Mott's-like, creamy yeast, browned fruit. Taste is bittersweet(mostly sweet), faintly tart, very faint funk, upsetting-ly buttery in taste & texture. Brown sugar & sulfites finish it. Mellow acid, lacking tartness, soft to moderate carbonation, faint indication of alcohol. Candy.

Bottle, smallish bubbly head, clear dark yellow color, fresh and baked apples with just a hint of sulphur, very sweet but not cloying. Simple but really nice.

330ml bottle from Waitrose Chester. Pours clear gold, small patchy white head that persists. Aroma sweet keeved apple fruit. Taste pure full medium apple fruit, keeved, some honey, woody echoes. Good French cidre.

Bottle from Appellation Wines Comely Bank. Appearance - very golden, very gentle bubble. Nose - very juicy, red apples. Taste - more juicy apples, apple skin at the back. Palate - close to medium bodied, not so tangy, dry gentle finish. Overall - very generous cider.
