Wild ale fermented with Newtown Pippin apples

A collaboration that honors tradition, driven by innovation, this complex wild ale showcases the flavors of Terreux with delicate nuances brought forth from the apples of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Brewed in collaboration with our friends at ANXO Cidery in Washington, D.C., this wild ale was aged in oak puncheons and co-fermented with Newton Pippin apples.

Can. Thanks to SirAlex. Pours hazy Golden with a White head. Green Apples, Wood, slight funk and alcohol. Dry finish

750 ml bottle from 2019 RS. Thanks Adam! Aroma is sulfur, tart apple, funk. Texture is dry and crisp. Constructed more like a Cider. Good.

473ml can. Tart, citrusy and oaky with loads of apple juice, hints of funky yeastiness and vanilla, very mild sourness. Quite cidery and oaky, slightly funky.

[ As Bruery Terreux / ANXO ANXOreux ].
ABV: 7.0%. Light cloudy light yellow colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is apple, apple - pear, funky, oak - barrel - vanilla. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, fruity, apples, apple - pear, sweet fruit, barrel - vanilla, medium dry, funky. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft to flat. 1 pint can from Ghostwhale. Hazy pale yellow colour, foamy white head leaving some lacing and aroma of oak, vanilla, apple, funk, lemon rind. Taste is sweetish then tart fleshy apple, fruity & juicy, with citric rind, funk, sourness. Slick mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry sour finish. Nicely drinkable.

16oz can pours a hazy lemon yellow, no head. Nose has green apple, lemon, some kumquat. Flavor has the tart apple, the kumquat. Tart finish.
