On tap @Pivnica Medonja, Varaždin. Clear golden pour, two finger creamy white head. Thick and creamy, long lasting, nice lacing. Nose pretty much your usual lager; malty, grainy, herbal. Medium body, medium to high carbonation. Prickly mouthfeel. Mildly bittersweet taste. Pretty much straightforward effort here. Malts, grains, corn, a bit herbal. Slightly acidic towards the finish. Overall, mediocre. Bland and unimaginative. Meh.

Pours clear light gold from the bottle. The foamy white crown soon fades. Aroma is a mix of corn, dust, and dough. Taste is mildly sweet with a low key somewhat papery finish. Carbonation a touch above average for the style, but rapidly diminishes, giving the brew a listless, lightly watery feel later on. Not a good example of the style.

Bottle, 5.1%. Papery and dusty aroma, but OK. Has a faintly sour hint. Clear yellow colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is malty, slightly bready, OK papery. Has a low bitterness. Quite clean.

Bottle. Pours clear pale straw with airy white head. Clear aroma of yeast, with notes of paper and malt. Grainy and estery flavour with clear but unobtrusive papery notes. Estery and malty aftertaste with hints of paper. Reasonable for the style.
