24.02.2020, 0,375l bottle @ hotel room in Sogndal:
Nice bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head, dark amber color. Aroma is slightly sweet boozy, yeast, minerals, candi sugar, soil, booze, bark, fruit stones, paper, almond essence, caramel malts. Taste is slightly sweet sour-ish boozy, candi sugar, yeast, minerals, booze, fruit stones, soil, bark, grass, caramel malts, almond essence, paper. Longlasting harsh bitterness, dry sour-ish boozy mouthfeel. Not my cup of coffee. Needs years in the cellar, at best...

Lovely tasty evening sipper this one. Smooth and fine Nice deep red pour. Looks fine Pleasant and fine intensity in the aroma Quite ok and balanced sweetness for a beer like this Also a fine carbonation level, and a well masked alcohol level Dried fruits, herbal, toffee and a solid fine malty backbone in the flavor [Bottle from foffern]

Bottle at the brewery. Pours a dark reddish brown colour with a small beige head. Aroma of acetone, raisins, creme brulee, oak, liqueur and heather. Flavour of acetone, alcohol, raisins, creme brulee, oak and licorice. Has a slick mouth feel, medium to full body and a light bitterness. Malty but a little unbalanced. Need some years in the cellar.
