Cheval Blanc, “la Blanche des Blanches”, is a finely-bubbled beer made from wheat and barley. Like the traditional Belgian “White beer”, it is refreshing, light and slightly fruity.

Bright foggy yellow body with some head on top. Faint aroma of wheat detergent and horse hair. Taste is faint watery wit-bier stuff. Not bad, not interesting either. Hard to find anything that stands out about this brew.

Bottle, 5%. Mild lemon aroma. Cloudy yellow colour. Small white head. Mild clove flavour, otherwise quite watery.

Pours hazy gold into a tumbler. Bright white head slowly recedes to skim surface leaving slight spottting. Wheat and lemon aromas. Dry and wheaty from front to back. Tart lemon and orange citrus finish.

New label design. White beer with a pleasant banana clove aroma. Very light taste of bananas and malts....lemon cut in through the end. Pleasant and refreshing, which is what a blanche should be..

Usual yeast Cheval Blanc flavor which is a good thing. A bit of lemon in this nice white colored brew. Very refreshing, not too bad for a style (Belgian White) that seems to go out of favour with brewer...
