500ml can: BB 2nd Dec 2020. Shared with Andy (who brought it) at my house on 5th Sep 2020. Black bodied, tanned affair on top. Nose held coffee and toffee esters, taste also full of coffee and toffee like flavours, didn't pick up the honeycomb although there was a sweetness within the taste. Nice!

Shared with friends at Manchester Beer & Cider Festival, KegStar Bar. Bubbles to the rim of the surface, dotted spots, black body. Chocolate and toffee on the nose. Honeyed sweet malty flavours added by a welcome piney note to the finish. Fine depth. Pleasing. (2nd day of the festival 23.01.2020).

Keg @ Craft Asylum#2, Leeds. Black with a small off-white head. It’s sweet first in its taste with some roasted available in its nose, but its strength is very evident here too.

Nose is fruity, plummy, blackcurrant, toffee, hint of sour porter. Taste is sweet, very fruity, cola, sugar, cherry, icing, fudge, hint of vanilla ice cream, hints of almond, exceptionally sweet finish. Slight hints of the beer under the sugar give a sweet dark malt taste. To say it's too sweet isn't putting it strongly enough, you can hardly taste the beer.
