Bottle picked up from Bierhalle Deconinck, West Flanders, Belgium. Consumed at home Sunday 6th May 2018, after another day of Pond Building (it's nearly complete now) cooking Paella in the back garden Pours hazy mid gold with a slim white head head, a little spice and yeast and cereal. Soft in the mouth, a bit on the sweet side. A good beer, not amazing, but a good un'. A7 A4 T7 P3 Ov15 3.5

28/II/18 - 33cl bottle from Bierhalle Deconinck (Vichte) @ home - BB: IX/18, bottled: 27/IX/17 (2018-213)
Clear blond to light orange beer, irregular fizzy to creamy off-white head, falls down quickly. Aroma: very malty, grains, some sulphur, DMS, cow fodder, some pears, maybe, bit spicy, dirty, pretty disappointing. Where's the hop aroma's? Enigma, Azacca, DDH? Not getting much of that stuff... MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: very malty, grains, cow fodder, sweet, caramel, soft bitterness, some grapefruit. Aftertaste: malty, grains, sweet, little grassy, pretty bitter finish, bit metallic, caramel, some grapefruit, a pretty faint fruity touch. Very disappointing, this one.

Light haze gold beer, thin pale cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly dry, good fine crispness. Light malts, perhaps a little thin, nice light creamy sweetness. Fab hops - lightly spicy pink grapefruit, piney floral tropical fruits. Smooth citrus and piney citrus. A trace of skunk. Light crispy finish. Fabulously light and fruit. Could drink this all night.

Bottle shared with sjogro. Clear golden with off white head. Canned pineapple, dank herbs, lychee, weird roasted fruit notes (?), watermelon, grapefruit, weird milky dough, some cheese. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with watery milky finish. Nooooot my thing at all.
