Tap at Brewdog Tampere. Dark brown colour, small beige head. Aroma is roasted with Bourbon sweetness. Medium-bodied. Roasted with bourbon and some ash. Good but simple.

Keg at BrewDog Leicester. Dark brown, very nearly black. Almost no head. Smoky aroma with some liquorice. Tastes sweet but there's strong tar liquorice and woody notes along with a bit of vanilla extract. Mild carbonation. I really like this although I can't quite pinpoint why.

Keg at BD Castlegate. It pours opauqe black with a decent tan head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, tangy berry, jammy, oily, chocolate, toffee, rocky road, toasted coconut, vanilla, fruit jelly and Victoria sponge cake. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, dark chocolate, oak, umami, spicy, warming alcohol, toasted coconut, dark chocolate bounty bar, charred wood, earth, burnt toast, umami, jammy action, cookie dough and a touch of fruit cake with a dry, toothy finish. Fulsome body, fine carbonation and sticky mouth feel. A toothy number. Interesting mix of sweet and savoury.

Keg at Brewdog Reading. Black with a large beige head, and a middling fizz. The alcohol is quite obvious. There's sweet black coffee, rum, chocolate. A touch of dry ash tries to balance it but it's definitely sweet and boozy. Raisins come through too. It could be said to be a bit unbalanced but I personally like sweet boozy stouts like this!

From backlog. Draught @ Brewdog Helsinki. Smooth, sweetish and slightly roasty with some bourbon, toffee, ashy notes and oak. A bit light bodied and soft, but quite balanced.

Third, on tap at BrewDog Reading, Collabfest. Shared with Finn. Low beige coloured head to a deep black body, spotty lacing. Rather rich malt-driven aroma of chocolate and dark fruits. Well blended taste of dark fruits and lack chocolate, hints of nuts as well. Careful backbone of bourbon. Nicely dark malt-driven finish. Mouth filling, still quite easy to drink. Enjoying. (Reading 20.10.2019).

Keg at BrewDog Canary Wharf - London. Pours deep brown with a lasting, foamy beige head. Big on the ashy dryness, with some cocoa, scorched earth, black coffee. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Decent balance in the finish, more ashy roast, burnt earth, bittersweet chocolate. Very nice.
