Cask ale at Blue Boar in Leicester, shared with jjsint and Finn. Lacing rings down the glass, rosewood coloured body, almost black. Promising smell of prunes and caramel. Mixed taste profile of dried fruits and caramel malts, a piney hints towards a mid-dry ending. Pretty nice. (10.02.2019)

Handpull cask at the Blue Boar, Leicester with Finn and Rune. Chocolate brown, clear with a very small ring of off-white head. Chocolate malt, oak, sarsaparilla and vanilla in the aroma. Sweet taste, oaky, peppery and slightly medicinal. Long woody finish with a hint of sourness. Flat and thin body. All in all this is very nice indeed.
