Tap at Monyo. Deep copper pour, no head. Nose is peated smokey, a hint of wood, some slight earthy character. Tastewise it’s smokey upfront, and then comes... more smoke. There’s more tho, sweet malts, a warming boozy touch. Light bodied with soft carbo, perhaps a bit too light. I’m a sucker for this peaty taste, but the body is too light.

Can. Unclear brown body under a dense beige head. Lovely strong aroma, plenty of peat, bandage, tar and mild smoke. Taste is sweet and malty, lots of peat like aroma, some dry fruit, pleasant bitterness and warming alcohol. Perfect body and strong, long lasting aftertaste. What a nice sipper for a quite evening.

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet Kvadrat, thanks to gunnar. ABV is 7.0%. Cloudy dark brown colour, large beige head. Aroma of peat smoke, whisky, tar, old stave church, old rope. The flavour is intensely peated - some malty sweetness in the background, but first and last it is all peat smoke, with peat smoke in the middle. Add burnt wood, iodine and tar. You guessed it: too much peat smoke for me. Won't buy again.
