A pale ale, as pale and mysterious as the moon with a fruity, hay-like almost woody aroma. Its clear, hoppy finish makes it a taste to savour. This sparkling amber-coloured Welsh craft pale ale is a well-made and highly enjoyable beer.

Old rating from 08-01-15 - 500ml bottle from the brewery on my Wales road trip. Poured at home in Jersey, it's dark amber with a white head. Aromas & tastes of citrus, fruits, flora, biscuit & sweet malt. Light to medium body. Medium bitter finish. Enjoyable

500ml bottle. Pours a clear gold with large white head. Expected it to have an amber colour to match the beer on the label. Quite a satisfying first sip, bringing an appealing sweetness, soft pale malt with soft floral hints, nice hop presence. Took me a bit by surprise how nice this is. Would also probably peg it in the blonde ale camp.

11/9/2020. Bottle at the Gorzow GP bottle-share, bought direct from the brewery. Pours clear golden with a small bubbly/frothy off-white head. Aroma of citrus, sweet malt, flowers, berries. Moderate sweetness and light bitterness. Moderate body, slight creamy texture, soft carbonation. Quite liked this.

500ml bottle [courtesy of Grumbo - diolch.]. Minimally cloudy, orangey golden colour with average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Floral and leafy, hoppy aroma, notes of tea, a touch of Earl Grey, bergamot, smoked tea, pale and minimally caramel malty background, unspecific fruity overtones in yellow stone fruit direction, minimally waxy overtones as well. Taste is slightly bitter, floral and leafy hoppy, minimally fruity and sweet-ish malty, a touch of peach and apricot, Earl Grey, bergamot, a weak touch of smoked tea and - though quite diluted - even ham. Watery texture, minimally dry palate, more coarse than fine, prickly carbonation. Quite manifold, very interesting, pretty much underrated IMO.

Bottle from Abbey Grange Hotel, Llangollen. Golden with a very small head. Not a standard bitter as it has a smoked aroma and taste with some ham flavours involved. You would still class this as a bitter in style though.

500ml bottle, Christmas gift from Richard and Bjørg, shared with Finn. Remaining white head to a hazy golden body. Spotty lacing. Doughy fruity nose. Mixed taste of apricot, dough and mild malty sweetness followed by a rather sharp fruit bitter end. Not diluted at all. Decent bitter. (Tromsø 08.01.2018).
