Originally named in honour of the final episode of Top of the Pops shown on 30th July, this beer is full gold in colour, brewed with Pale, Wheat, Munich and Caramalt Malts, and Cascade Hops. It has a hoppy aroma with a hint of fresh fruit and a taste of grapefruit derived from the hops, which is underpinned by malt flavours and a lingering, mouthfilling, fruity aftertaste. As Smashy and Nicey would say ... "FABULICIOUS"!! ... not arf!

Hand-pulled pint in The Philharmonic, Liverpool on 7th Feb 2014. Light amber with good lacing coming from a deep white head. The aroma was half hop, half malt, the taste similar but with a semi-bitter and dry finish. There were hints of citrus notes but not too strong. Medium bodied and easy to drink: not too exciting, but nothing wrong with it.

Cask at The Volunteers Arms, GBBF 2007. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet and lovely grassy with a slight citrusy edge. The flavor is sweet malty with citrusy almost acidic hop notes as well as some grass, leading to a bitter finish.
