Fra fat på Cardinaltreff mai-15, etter Espen Lothe og Kinn: klar gylden med fint hvitt skum som varer. God humlearoma med citrus, mango og så lurer vi på om ikke Simcoe-katten har etterlatt seg et lite visittkort. Lett, ganske tørr og smaksrik (de vanlige tropiske frukter, grapefrukt), men den taper seg mot slutten - blir litt kort og vandig. Men jeg griper etter glasset igjen...

On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of fruity hops, notes of mango and citrus, a hint of tomcat. Light bodied. Dry flavour with distinct hops throughout, hints of of tropical fruits, citrus (esp. grapefruit) and resin, bitter finish and aftertaste. Refreshing.

From tap at Mi2 at Cardinal 04.05.15. Almost clear golden. Dense and persistent off-white head and lacing. Overripe tropical fruits and feline urine in aroma. Similar taste, with more cp. Decent aftertaste. A bit thin mouthfeel.

On tap at Crowbar. Golden-orange colour with an off-white head. Aroma is fruit, malt, hop, citrus. Flavour is fruit, malt, hop, pine, yeast, peaches, orange, citrus. Medium body. OK beer.

On tap @ Crowbar. Unclear orange body with a small off-white head. Strong and nice aroma of ripe fruit, marmalade, citric fruit and some malt. Flavor is sweetish malt, ripe fruit, marmalade and quite bitter. Fine and well balanced body with malty sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and quite sweet. A nice one.

Duft av citrusfrukter. Dunkel gulbrun farge. Tynt dekkende hvitt skum, noe heng langs kant. Frisk smak av citrus.

Appearance: Unclear golden color with a fine white head. Ok lacing.
Aroma: Citric hoppy, mild malty and fruity.
Palate: Medium (+) body. Moderate sweet and a fresh bitterness. Average to soft carbonation.
Taste: Mild tropical fruity and pleasant citrus hoppy on a mild malty back.
Overall impression: Tasty, fresh and nice ale.

Pours hazy orange/amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, orange and citrus. Taste is light to medium sweet and medium bitter with a long orange and citrus finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap at Crowbar. An unclear orange colored beer with a small off-white head. Lacings. A bit weak aroma, fruity and citrusy. Peaches and some pine cones, low on malty scents. Medium body, very soft on the palate, semi dry. Oranges dominates the flavor, not as bitter as I’d expect. Lasting fruity finish. A bit one dimensional but sure nice, very easu drinkable. 140501

On tap at the brewpub, mosaic version, 5.2 % abv. Cloudy apricot coloured body. Good lacework from a fair white head. Just plain fresh fruity aroma. Succulent fruity taste, orange and mandarin to it. Fruit hoppy ending. Fine bodied.Very refreshing and easy to drink and to like (Oslo 11.03.2014).
