At Four Thieves. Musky citrus aroma. Opaque golden amber. Thin white frothy head. Initially pretty low key mango before some more citrus bitterness kicks in. Medium bodied. Slick. Sticky residue. Average carbonation. OK. Some fruitiness but overall a bland offering. Not that interested in finishing it.

Four Thieves. Cask. Clear gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and sem dry. Thin pale malts. Hops are mildly skunky and piney. Modest citric peel. Light and fairly dry finish. Mild bitter linger. Not bad, just feels a tad thin.

Cask at the Brewpub. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The nose is soft, fresh, bready, cereal, light sweetness and straw. The taste is crisp, bitter, very grassy, straw, floral, spice, pepper and white bread. Finish is dry. Medium body and fine carbonation. Tastes like a decent hoppy lager.

Cask at the Four Thieves. Pours totally clear yellow-gold with a tight, creamy white head. The aroma holds some grainy pale malts, lemon rind, slight hay, pine needles. Light sweet flavor with more rindy citrus, some grassy bitterness, lightly doughy pale bread, hints of grapefruit. Light bodied with fine carbonation.
