Keg at King William IV - Walthamstow. Pours black-brown with a small, creamy khaki head. Fun about, lots of ripe banana, sugary chocolate, banana chips, vanilla syrup. Medium to big sweet flavour with loads of chewy bruised banana, some coffee iced cream, offer, vanilla beans, minimal bitterness. Medium to full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish with nips of alcohol warmth, some roadster toffee, more ripe and chewy banana, syrupy vanilla, milk chocolate, mild roast. Quite a novelty beer. Enjoyable in moderate dosage.

Tap. Cotteridge. Dark, chestnut brown. Thin, shiny, sticky, beige head. Nose has sweet, easter egg chocolate. Some sugary espresso. Hint of cinammon. Decent, slick, oily mouthfeel. Nice chew. Nutty, slick, chewy toffee finish.

Poured from keg at King William IV, shared with Magne while watching West Ham vs Arsenal on TV. A tan-coloured head with fine retention. Solid lacing. Devil black body. Aromas of raw vanilla, chocolate, and liquorice. Vanilla and cocoa flavours offset by subdued roasted fruity bitterness to the ending. Medium bodied. Just alright, not a favourite though (London 09.04.2016).

Keg at King William IV. It pours jet black with a medium beige head. The aroma is soft, sweet, banana candy, chocolate, marshmallow, banana split and earth. The taste is smooth, bitter - sweet, banana candy, charred wood, rocky road, cocoa, alcohol boost, tar, charred wood with a dry, roasty finish. Medium - full body and fine, foamy carbonation. Perhaps a touch artificial, but very good fun.
