Bottle. Clear deep golden body with a big tan head. Aroma has malt, wood and white wine (yes I can read it’s supposed to be red wine!). Flavor is medium sweet malt, some caramel, light wood, some red berries and a light, vinous hint. Medium body and average aftertaste. I normally like the beer in wine barrel concept, but think this was a bit less distinct than expected. Malt flavor is a bit light, not particular sweet, nor dry or wild and the wine flavor is also rather mild. Better luck next time.

500 ml bottle, batch #094, from Vinmonopolet; Nettbutikken. Deep orange to amber colour, moderate head, slightly off-white. Aroma of malts, caramel, red wine, red berries and oak. The flavour has the same elements, but is neither very sweet nor very sour. Moderate hops.

500ml bottle, Batch #094, from Vinmonopolet City Nord. Deep golden-brown body, cloudy last pour. Off-white head remaining while leading clingy lacing on the glass. Quite inviting smell of herbs, earth, dust and a bit of farmyard. Comprehensive taste profile of oak, caramel, herbs and red berries. Vinous endnotes. Fine depth. Different and interesting. (Bodø Panorama 22.03.2018).

22.12.2017, 0,5l bottle @ home:
Nice fizzy-creamy longlasting head, hazy dark orangy color. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish mineraly, weeds, wet hay, oak, sour grass, bark, flowers, old wash cloth, fruit stones, paper, minerals, old cellar. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish mineraly, weeds, oak, sour grass, bloodlike minerals, bark, old wash cloth, paper, soil, old cellar, fruit stones. Medium bitterness, harsh sour-ish mineraly mouthfeel. Meh!
