It is an interesting beer, a bit short in the mouth, a Belgian ale, sparkling, malty, a bit sourn notes of malt and peach, 02.08.2018, refreshing me during this hot summer at Bonfol.

20.08.2018 -- 0.375l bottle from qoqa. pours a hazy pale amber with a medium chunky head. aroma of funk, oranges, some banana esters. flavour of banana, green apple peel, citrus, grass. chalky mouthfeel. a bit like a season, weizen, and a pils at the same time. ok though.

170ml draught at Ølhallen. Steady white layer leaving lacing rings on the glass. Misty orange-gold body. Smell of yeasty fruitiness, pale malts and grass. Canned fruity flavours with a farmyard touch on a backbone of dough. Fresh, but short, hops fruity ending. Refreshing early on a Saturday at hallen. (Trosmø 18.08.2018).

375 ml bottle, from Meny Hundvåg. ABV is 4.5%. Deep golden colour, slightly hazy. Small white head. Aroma of farmhouse, grain, dust and lactic acid. Soft mouthfeel, low level of carbonation. The flavour has a moderate fruitiness and a slight acidity, also notes of grain. Very moderate hops. A poor example of a saison.

Bottle, #1100, seven months before bbd. Pours hazy golden, with a finger thick creamy head. Aroma is fruity yeast, with hay and earthy notes, as well as some malts with toffee and heather. Medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is malts with cereals, toffee and earthy yeast with hay, grass and some ripe fruits. Dry, earthy finish.

Gulbrun lett tåkete med høyt beige skum. Lukter korn og maltig mot fudge. Lett. Smaker korn, noe gjær, mineralsk og noe sitrus. Lett bitterhet i avslutningen. Middels lang.

330 ml bottle. Unclear golden body with a medium sized white head. Aroma is malt, grain and has a hint of white sugar. Reminds me of something between a pilsner and a Belgium blonde. Flavor is sweet malt, grain, hint of honey, some light grassy bitterness and slightly harsh bitterness towards the end. Medium body and average aftertaste. More in common with a pilsner/blonde than a Sasion in my book. Finished my bottle, but would not by again.

Duggfrisk 2016.Golden-orange color with an off-white head. Aroma is citrus, fruit, malt, hop , yeast . Flavor is fruit, malt, hop, yeast, caramel, herbs. Medium body. Ordinary beer.

Flaske fra Gulating Stavanger: jeg gleder meg alltid til å smake en ny øl fra et av Norges mest interessante bryggerier, men denne skuffer virkelig. Svak aroma av malt og gjær/krydder, ditto smak. Tynn, slapp og helt uten sjarme. Saison er en av mine favorittstilarter, og jeg brygger derfor mange slike selv. Hadde jeg kommet ut med noe som denne hadde jeg ikke servert den til mine venner.

Unclear dark golden color with a fine white head. Moderate intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a bit rich carbonation level. Moderate sweetness and a mild acidity. Teast, banana and some caramel in the flavor. A bit unusual saison. But it is a gardsøl.
