Fiskåbanen 150120.Dark brown color with a beige head. Aroma is rooasted malt, coffee, chocolate. Flavor is roasted malt, coffee, caramel, sugar, chocolate, nuts, bread, OK/Nice beer.

330 ml can, also sampled on tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 7.5%. Dark brown colour, moderate off-white to beige head. Aroma of malts, caramel and brown bread. The flavour is malty and medium sweet, notes of caramel and brown bread again, moderate hops. Maybe not my favourite style, but this is a good beer all the same.

330ml can bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Steady, creamy off-white head leaving fair lacing on the glass. Next to clear dark reddish-brown body. Nutty nose added by stewed fruits . Blended taste of nuts, chocolate and stewed fruits. Lightly roasted mid-sweet ending. Has got its moments of likeable beer drinking on a Saturday afternoon. (Tromsø 16.11.2019).

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours dark brown with off-white head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, notes of vanilla, a little bit of diacetyl. Tastes slightly sweet with balancing bitterness. Medium bodied. Dangerously easily drinkable.

Can, #201, two weeks after canning. Pours hazy dark mahogany, with a big rocky, off white head. Aroma is smoked malts with dark bread, coffee and chocolate, as well as raisins and dark fruits. Full, velvety body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is dark roasted malts, with bread, coffee and chocolate, as well as muscovado, dark fruits and tobacco. Semi dry finish with wooden minerals. Winter may come...

0,33 boks fra polet i Straensenteret (eller Herbarium, som er det tåpelige navnet etter oppussingen), hjemme en fredagskveld: klar nøttebrun med ok beige skum. Lys kaffe, ristede hasselnøtter, sjokoladedrasjerte havrekjeks og en liten sjokoladekaramell. Balansert, elegant og meget lettdrikkelig. Vi heier på Bjarte, han leverer så det holder!
