Can from Gulating. Unclear pale golden body with a small white head. A bit light in aroma, quite typical a pilsner, but still a light but distinct hint of kveik and juniper. Same goes for the flavor, it’s a pilsner do doubt, still a much more interesting twist of yeast, herbs and juniper. Medium body and average aftertaste. Not the best beer from Bygland but tasty and high drinkability and sure an original twist. Way more interesting than playing with NEIPA.

330ml can bought at Gulating in Bodø. Pours a huge white head leaving spotty lacing on the glass. Cloudy golden body. Moderate smell of herbal hops and pale malts, hints of spiced. Malt-fruity flavours added by spices and a note of spruce towards the ending. Soft on the swallow. Okay pilsener.

Hurra for arrangørene!

Can. A hazy yellow-orange golden beer with a two-finger firm white head. Curtains. The aroma is unmistakably pilsner, with a forest touch most likely caused by the juniper twigs. Pale malt, bread hints, grass, pine cone hints and some generic fruityness. It's medium bodied and soft on the palate, with a quite low bitterness level and perhaps a bit much sweetness. Fruity, juniper-ish finish. A tasteful and pleasant pilsner inspired beer that works decently as a thirst quencher too. 190330
