Tart fruity with some prominent notes of plum, some crisp wheaty notes, straw, hay, light citrus linger, medium body, tart fruity finish.

Bottle from Gulating. Hazy gray/pale purple body with a big, foamy white head. Aroma is like a mild but typical hefe mixed with some fruit juice, I think of plum like plum marmalade but it’s not very distinct so I might actually be a bit influenced of actually reading plum at the label. Anyway the flavor is clearly influenced by the fruit, it has a nice, mild sourish kind of plum flavor to the wheat and floral yeast flavor. Slightly unusually but made with a fine balance, I think it is working fine even if it’s not an amazing beer but sure interesting to taste. Medium body and medium aftertaste in the same flavor direction.

500ml bottle, 338, bought at Gulating in Bodø. A wheat haze to a golden body, patchy lacing, chalk white head. Moderate smell of lightly spiced fruity wheat. Mid-sweet fruity flavours hints of overripe banana. Ends with a welcome touch fruity bitterness. Could not spot the plums. Fair enough. (Bodø Panorama 25.06.2020).

Bottle shared with JMD on board Fridtjofen 01.05.20. Cloudy pale peach colour. Fine and refreshing taste of wheat, curacao orange peel and green bananas in aftertaste.

Vi feirer skibsarbeidernes internasjonale solidaritetsdag ombord på Fridtjofen, 1.mai 2020: 0,5 flaske fra Gulating Stavanger. Lett uklar gylden med fint skum som varer. Banan, krydder, sommervarme urter, gjær, hvetemalt, bitterappelsin og litt høy - plommene kjenner jeg ikke noe av. Krydret ettersmak. Og naturligvis mersmak, slik jeg er vant til fra Lindheim.

Growler. An unclear orange colored beer with a two finger white head. Banana, some orange and a bready touch in the aroma. Piney notes and a grassy touch too. It's medium to full bodied, semi-dry and nicely carbonated, with a soft bitterness. Banana, pale malts and some cloves, hints of grass and even some pine cone hints. Orange notes towards the finish. A pleasant weissbier indeed, slaking the thirst. 200419

Fiskåbanen 020819. Golden color with a white head. Aroma is plum, fruit, malt. Flavor is plum, fruit, malt, oranges, sourness, yeast. Nice beer.
