330 ml bottle, 5.3 abv. Pours slighly unclear dark golden/amber with a fluffy head. Caramel, butter cookies, lemon peel, grassy hops, slightly metallic, bready. Malty sweetness, dry metallic bitterness. Full bodied, oily texture, lively to soft carbonated, dry bittersweet finish. Not bad.

Amber with a frothy head. Noticeable caramel. A touch nutty but more roasted grains than anything else. Taste is bittersweet with a gentle, roasted bitterness taking the upper hand. Medium bodied, gentle carbonation. Simple and easygoing.

Bottle picked up from Die Bierothek® München and consumed at home Attenkirchen, Saturday 14th March 2020, we moved here one year ago this weekend! (tomorrow to be exact) we're listening to The Murder Capital - When I have Fears. We're making Spice Marinated Beef Kebabs, Aubergine Rolls and I was going to make an Ice Cream but we'll have that tomorrow now. I am amazed that this is a brown ale???. Pours dark gold/light amber, good clarity and with a white head. Sweetness shows, a little honey, maltiness, Brown Ale, really?? it's ok, no great shakes.

Pours a bit hazy amber color, topped with medium frothy offwhite head. Medium malty nose with biscuity notes and some caramel, nice nuttiness as well. Medium malty sweet, biscuity. Some hints of bitterness. Lighter body with sparkly texture. Not bad.

Pours warm blonde, medium clear. medium small white head with decent lacing. Smell is medium intense , pale malts ( bready, somewhat doughy) sweet perception. No real hops. seemingly clean fermentation profile. Taste is full, bit bitter, doughy from the malts. creamy. Tad bitter, but only enough to pair the sweet maltyness . clean fermentation profile. Ends a bit sweet. ... Brown ale? REALLY ?

Bottle at St Mauli restaurant, Berlin. Strange hoppy smell from the bottle. A very smooth lager however that I really enjoyed. Not sure why it is termed as 'brown ale' though...A strong wild raspberry ending to the beer.

Clear light brown/amber with quickly vanishing white head. Aroma is apple juice and some malt forward syrup. Some hidden grassy hops as well. Taste is malty sweet and a light citrussy sourness. Sadly quite watery body but with some well fitting fine bubbled carbonation. Finish is refreshing with more hops. Not so easy to drink, but nice aroma and taste. Ok actually.
