The evil series continues with FENRIR Black DIPA. A heavy dark ale base dryhopped with ungodly amounts of Chinook, Centennial and Simcoe.

FENRIR is the monstrous wolf that grew so large he severed his chains, leaving him free to roam the earth and strike fear into even the hearts of the gods.

A more malty version of the style. Lacking sharp roast or bittenress. A but muddled, but overall a nice mesh of flavours. Sterk ams

Ruikt naar een geweldige combinatie van cannabis en koffie. Ook qua smaak hele mooie balans tussen koffie/roosterig en 'dank' hops.

Can at home. Opaque murky to dark brown color, huge sized beige head. Aroma and flavor are malts, shag / tobacco, distant roast. After a while some sweet hints, dark chocolate, but also some dark malt bitters. Little alcohol burn in the finish. Overall pretty useful though I'd say.

0.33 l can from 't Biermenneke, canned in January 2021. Clear, very dark ruby to black with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, beige head. Intensely fruity, slightly resiny, slightly roasty aroma of tropical fruits, blueberry, traces of pine, some dark chocolate and a touch of licorice. Gently sweet, quite roasty, rather fruity and a bit resiny taste of dark chocolate, hard roasted coffee, licorice, tropical fruits, some blueberry and hints of pine, followed by a medium long, rather roasty-bitter, earthy and a bit resiny finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very intense beer, great balance between the roasted malts and the juicy hops, really good!
